We at Helena Valley Medical Centre understand that knowing the cost of your medical treatment is important to you.
Helena Valley Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice. Our Doctors are independent in their billing policy but for the most part will bulk bill pensioners, Health Care Cardholders and children under 16 years of age for most Medicare Items. This remains at the discretion of your doctor. If unsure, please ask reception when booking your appointment.
All other patients are privately billed with a gap fee.
Please note the same billing arrangements apply for Telehealth consultations.
Fees are payable in full at the end of each consultation. We accept Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS, Cheque or Cash.
Premium Credit Card payments will incur a minimum payment processing fee of 1% including GST.
Fees not paid at the time of consultation will attract a bookkeeping fee.
Saturday AM: From May 2021 the clinic is currently closed on Saturdays. Please note that we do not offer bulk billing services on Saturdays. All patients will be billed privately unless otherwise directed by the Doctor on duty.
